How I achieved 162/180 in Plab-1
Hello. My name is Dr Apurv Gupta and I am a medical graduate from MAMC, New Delhi. Through this blog, I will share my preparation strategy and try to provide as much information as possible. Buckle up, it’s a long one. SCORE I took the exam on November 5, 2020. 116 was the passing score. I scored 162/180 (90%). Before discussing various sources, I would like to address the most important question of plab-1 journey: “what do you want from the exam- 1) To just pass it or 2) To achieve a high score”. Let me be blunt. Both options are right as plab1 is only an eligibility exam. Marks don’t matter at all. Nobody will decide your future based on these marks. If marks don’t matter, why am I making this as a core question? Because- a) Both categories have different strategies and b) if you are not clear in your mind from day 1, you will keep juggling between the two and end up exhausting yourself.
